Shoulder Pauldrons: This ware comes in a few different configurations and can be done in a variety of colors. The chain with connection to the scales is a european 4 in 1 and the rest of the chain that wraps under the opposite arm is a 3-3-3 chain. The layered scales come in various widths (from one end of the layered scales to another) and a length (at the middle of the layered scale piece, from chain to tip of the last scale) that correlates with the width of the piece.
 
Size Options: Sizes are measured by the width of the entirety of scale pattern and length of the longest point of the scale pattern from chain to scale tip.
Small: 27 inches width and 11 inches length 
Medium: 30 inches width and 11.5 inches length
Large: 33 inches width and 12 inches length
X-Large: 36 inches wide and 12.5 inches length
 
Measuring yourself: When measuring yourself, using a clothing measuring tape is recommended. If you do not have one, use a piece of string then compare to a rigid measuring tape.
Length: Top of shoulder to desired length down side of arm. Approxiamately three quarter down upper arm. Measure starting about three fingers width from where your shoulder begins to slope down into your arm. 
Scale width: 
Wearing on your left shoulder (Flip directions for wearing on right shoulder): Place measuring tape under right mid collarbone approximately seven inches down until it sits on the chest/pectoral muscle. Then following a gentle slope over the body measure to the top of your arm just over the shoulder and around the back to the spot to MIRROR the spot you are holding on the front of the body. *** Do NOT go all the way around. That measurement is a separate number.
Overall piece length (Including non-scale chain): Holding measuring tape as you did in the previous measurement, follow the same path and this time go under the opposite arm  and meet the beginning of the tape and the number you need together. *** Please add this number int he custom box below with your size you'd prefer
 
Pattern style: The pictured pauldron is one example of pattern. Below are a couple of pattern options. To create a whole new pattern to suit you please contact us to designanything above and beyond these options.
Triangle Pattern: The example pictures of the Black and red one: a style of triangles pointed at the center of the scale pattern in alternating colors with ultimately a small point at the end for enhanced appeal.
Checkerboard Pattern: All colors used will alternate, which will make this pattern appear more even when only two colors are used at most.
Stripes: Example picture of the green and copper one: This stripe pattern connects into a V shape at the middle of the pauldron and alternates between colors.

Ring Color Options: You can choose two colors for the european weave that connects to the scales. You can choose one solid or two alternating colors for the rest of the 3-3-3 chain.
